JUDGING OF WORLD MINUTE MOVIES

All entered films (except the disqualified ones) will be shown to the audience before the WMMC, without any intermissions.

First round

The 16 selected films are shown in groups of two according to the determined sequence.

The audience determines (by standing up or by lifting a hand) which of the two films just shown they think is the better.

This results in the selection of 8 films.

Second round

The sequence of these 8 films will be determined by drawing lots.

These films are again shown in groups of two and judged by the audience (in the same way as before).

This results in the selection of 4 films.

Third round

The sequence of these 4 films will be determined by drawing lots.

These films are again shown in groups of two and judged by the audience (in the same way as before).

This results in the selection of 2 films.

The two losers of this round will both get a third prize.

Last round

The remaining 2 films are shown and judged by the audience (also in the same way as before). This determines the first and second prize winners.
