Revival of UNICA.

For this purpose, the General Secretariat will send reports to the national organisations by the end of this year at the latest and invite them to submit to the General Secretariat by the end of January any proposals to be dealt with at the next Congress, which will then be communicated to the individual nations so that the delegates can prepare for the Congress.

In Stockholm, each nation represented should appoint a jury member, but one with appropriate skills.

Two delegates per country should have special privileges at the Congresses. In general, those countries that take on congresses should strive, with the help of their governments or other organisations, to grant good benefits to the congress participants in general, so that as many people as possible can take part and so that the circle of friends is extended.

The Assembly is pleased to note that the city authorities of Lugano have made a challenge trophy available to UNICA. It will be awarded to the nation that achieves the highest score with 3 films, one in each category.

The Italian government has also donated a Cup to the nation that achieves the highest score with 3 films at this year's show.

Both donations will be duly acknowledged.

The applications submitted by Belgium and Holland will be put aside for consideration at the Stockholm Congress.

Fernet, le gouvernement italien a fait don d'un trophée à la nation qui obtiendra le meilleur score avec 3 films au salon de cette année.

Les deux dons seront dûment reconnus.

Les candidatures présentées par la Belgique et les Pays-Bas seront mises de côté pour être examinées lors du Congrès de Stockholm.

Wiederbelebung der UNICA.

Zu diesem Zwecke wird das Genersekretariat bis spätestens Ende dieses Jahres entsprechende Berichte an die Landesverbände versenden und diese einladen, bis Ende Januar allfällige Anträge, die am nächsten Kingress behandelt werden sollen, an das Generalsekrtetaiat zu melden, die allsdann widerum den einzelnen Nationen bekannt gegeben werden, damit sich die Delegierten auf den Kongress vorbereiten können.

In Stockholm soll jede vertretene Nation ein Jury-Mitglied bestimmen, aber eines das entprechende Fähigkeiten aufweist.

Je zwei Delegierte pro Land sollten an den Kongressen besondere Vergünstigungen haben. Überhaupt sollten diejenigen Länder, die Kongresse übernehmen darnach trachten, dass sie mit Hilfe ihrer Regierungen oder sonstigen Organisationen den Kongressteilnehmern allgemein gute Vergünstigungen gewähren können, damit möglichst viele Leute teilnehmen können und so der Freundeskreis erweiter wird.

Die Versammlung nimmt mit Freuden Kenntnis, dass die Stadtbehörden von Lugano der UNICA einen Wanderpreis zur Verfügung gestellt haben. Er ist für die diejenigen Nation bestimmt, die mit 3 Filmen, je einer in jeder Kategorie, die höc hste Punktzahl erreicht.

Fernet hat die italienische Regierung eine Pokal gestiftet, die derjenigen Nation zufällt, die an der diesjährigen Leistungsschau mit 3 Filmen die höchsten Punktzahrl erreicht.

Beide Spenden werden gebührend vardankt.

Die von Belgien und Holland eingerreichten Anträge werden zur Behandlung am Stockholmer-Kongrss zurückgelegt.

The UNICA Projections in Lugano 1946

8 nations participated with 28 films. This participation is gratifying when one considers the difficulties that had to be overcome in order to submit the films. The juries judged according to the Swiss scheme, which was found to be quite practical by the jurors. The competition produced the following results:

Es beteilgten sich 8 Nationen mit 28 Filmen. Diese Beteiligung ist erfreulich, wenn man sich die Schwierigkeiter vergegannütig die für die Anhersendung der Filme zu überwinden waren. Juriert wuden nach dem schweizerischen Schema, das durchaus als praktisch von den Juroren empfunden wurde. Der Wettbewerb zeitigte folgended Ergebnis:
